Kids – Pre-K to 5th grade
Join us Sunday morning and 9:15 a.m. for FaithGroups and, during the school year, at 4:00 p.m. for iFaith. For more information on these programs, contact our Director of Children's Ministries Rena Aden ([email protected]).
Sunday Morning FaithGroups
Children of all ages are invited on Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. for our rotation Sunday school. Every three weeks we start a new bible story. The first week in our rotation we enjoy a breakfast together, followed by hearing our bible story. The second week, we review our bible story and learn about it through games. The final week in our rotation, we continue to review our story and learn through arts and crafts. Thinking about trying out Children's Faithgroup for the first time? It is super easy to jump in any week!
Sunday afternoons, kids 3 years – 5th grade are invited to come to FaithSpring for an exciting time of games, snacks, Bible stories and scriptures, music and more! Children 3 years-3rd grade attend iFaith. These students break up by ages for lesson and activity rotations. Children 4th - 5th grade attend Crossover. They dive deeper into their age-appropriate lessons.
Music and Worship Arts play a big part in our children's ministry, including our children's choir each Sunday at 3:15 pm with Pastor Kim ( [email protected]). Contact us for how your child can grow closer to God through music and worship, be that through iFaith, choir, or seasonal productions of music and drama.
During each Worship Service, children are invited to the front of the Worship Center for a special time with Renea, Nicole, and other volunteers to discuss appropriate topics related to the day’s Worship Service. Visuals, videos, audio clips, and other engaging means are used to help teach a brief lesson for the day.
Time For Kids
This is a time for kids to do an activity that accompanies the Children’s Message during the main worship service at 10:30 a.m. After the children’s message, younger children aged 3-years through 1st grade are invited to accompany volunteers back to the children’s areas for activities. Parents are welcome to keep their children in worship if so desired.
Located on the stage in the Worship Center is a basket full of worship clipboards and bags. These are filled with activities for kids to use during worship. Kids are encouraged to use the activities to further their Christian education by reading the Bible story books, doing Bible story and character activity sheets, or using the crayons to draw pictures that help them understand and focus on the worship experience.
Kids During The Week:
Crossover Small Group Study and Monthly Outings
Crossover Bible Study is for 4th and 5th grade students. In addition to their weekly meetings, this group also gathers at FaithSpring once a month from 6:00-7:00 p.m. to enjoy snacks, good discussion, and learning how to navigate through the Bible and study scripture. In addition, these children enjoy monthly outings and service projects. Connect with us!
Parent's Night Out
The kids enjoy a themed party several times a year while their parents enjoy a night out! The kids enjoy snacks, a movie, and fellowship with other kids. The best part is it's free! Stay tuned for the next Parent's Night Out!
